TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
