TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
